Silent Echoes

In between you and me
is an empty space.
And yet i cannot be near you.
I tried to reach
for your hand,
and you try to reach for mine too.
But in between me and you,
is an empty space.

I can see you far away
Clearly, as if you're near
Coz' there's only emptiness
in between you and me.

I feel your arms around me
as i think about wrapping mine around you.
It's as if you are near
Even though i do not see you.

I miss you...

And as the light of day
cracks the ceiling of night,
I can see vividly
the empty space
that's in between you and me;
an unburdened clarity.

I walk towards you,
but you move away
as i move close.
You are at the limit of my sight.
I could never reach you.

I miss you...

In between you and me
is an empty space
called distance.
May it be far or near,
a breathe away or an ocean,
or a sea
There will always be an empty space
in between you and me.

And i miss you...
